Classic 105 FM’s Debate Arouses a Fierce Reaction From Kenyan Men
Most men would definitely love their role boldly highlighted, understood and respected in marriage; at least that was the opinion of majority of the male callers who were participating on Classic 105 discussion.
“He cooks, he irons three times a week, he puts the clothes out to dry. They share responsibilities.” These were the words that made Kenyan men aggressively mad and flooded Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King’ang’I with calls to air their frustrations. Most of the men were easy pissed off by the idea of executing ‘feminine related chores’. Just like usual; Maina loved it when men got annoyed at the idea while Mwalimu seemed to be in support of the men.
The whole conversation ended with the conclusion of Maina and Mwalimu’s radio show but it seemed men still wanted to get something off their chests thus took on to Twitter on hush tag #MITM to continue airing their frustrations. It is hard to see men shed tears but if the conversation on #MITM is anything to go by; then I think men are vehemently weeping.
