Years ago, Kenya was introduced to Shaffie Weru a couple of years ago. Since then, the party scene has never been the same again. But back then, he was always introduced as Debbie Asila’s man.

Debbie Asila was a big shot celebrity with Ogopa DJs girl-power trio “Tatu” and then moved on to become a radio personality. Their relationship eventually soured but the beautiful thing about it is that they didn’t let it affect their daughter.

For that, I salute both Debbie and Shaffie. I commend them coming from a generation when the Nairobi lasses make useless mothers, I applaude the both of them.
