‘Thrift Shop’ Rapper Macklemore Is Coming To Kenya!
You know him from soul-stealing songs such as ”Thrift Shop” “Wings” and “Can’t Hold Us”. Ben Haggerty popularly known by his stage name Macklemore has not only gone platinum but has also made music history.
Macklemore and side-kick Ryan Lewis were the first duo in Billboard Hot 100 chart history to have their first two singles both reach number 1.This was their ”Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us singles.Apart from making great music Macklemore is also a supporter of LGTB rights including same-sex marriage.His support for this cause is expressed in his single “Same Love” which also condemns homophobia in mainstream hip hop, society, and mass media.
It seems that there are plans in the works for the American rapper to come to Kenya next year!
