Mudigi Of Sauti Sol Calls Out The Wannabe Socialites

Socialite,that seems to be the “it” term in town. A girl undresses for the internet, she is a socialite, she shakes a booty here, she is a socialite, she does something controversial she is a socialite.

Socialite seems to be the expression for girls who want to be ‘famous for being famous’ no wonder Huddah and Vera Sidika do not want to be referred to by that name! So what exactly is a socialite?”Someone who is well-known in fashionable society and is often seen at parties and other social events for wealthy people. So apparently we do not have any real socialites in Kenya. This is a sentiment echoed by Mudigi Savara of Sauti Sol who says “In Kenya, we don’t have socialites. Socialites are not poor. Let me call them social human beings but definitely not socialites.”
