Over the weekend,Nigerian Entertainment awards were held in Los Angeles California.The award ceremony was established in New York City in early 2006  to serve the growing African population in North America.

The annual event focuses on recognizing the contributions of African Entertainers to the entertainment industry. The event aims at promoting the image and culture of Africa and this has increased the awareness of a new edgy style of African entertainment that has helped promote Nigerian acts to the world.
The eighth edition of the event held last week was graced by Naija stars such as Wizkid Ramsey Noah and Pendo’slove interest Davido
Kenya’s finest Camp Mulla, P- Unit,  Fally Ipupa, Uganda’s Navio, Radio & Weasel had been nominated under the ‘East African Artist or Group of the Year’  but Uganda’s Navio took home the crown*sad face*
