The African King Set To Perform Alongside P-square This Friday!
They call him the African King,the sub-saharan lyrical beast among other names but you know him as Kanja Muchoki.
His presence in the music industry spans over a period of over ten years.His musical journey began in Maryland USA where he spent a large part of his life.In 2005 he won BET’s 106 & Park Win on Wild out.
He was once queried by Zuqka over reffering to himself as the African king and he had this to say “I feel like I’m a king in my own land, my territory of music and my genre around the world. I feel like a king is someone who is able to conquer, run and influence people. If you read my tweets, I like to write a lot of philosophy and inspirational stuff. I was born in London but my parents are both kikuyu so my blood is Kenyan. So that’s where African King comes from”
He has doen songs such as ‘Girl I Like’ ‘Bounce Bounce and Ecstacy (Feeling Myself!).He has also Collaborated with the coolest kids on the block Camp Mulla.
