Octopizzo Gives Back To The Society

They say giving back to the community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support your business and Kibera’s finest rapper Octopizzo knows this too well. The ‘Namba Nane’ rapper is set to lead a campaign in his hood that aims to supply books and increase education in young kids.

Dubbed Elimika the event aims at collecting stationery (both old and new) to help Kibera’s children’s future.

“I tell kids everyday that the opportunities I had were a result of having a good educational background not just talent. Education is what allows you to stand out. So join me on this Books giving day for and lets make a child’s future together.

If an educational act is to be efficacious, it will be only that one which tends to help toward the complete unfolding of life. To be thus helpful it is necessary rigorously to avoid the arrest of spontaneous movements and the imposition of arbitrary tasks.

The donation day will take place on 28th June at the Kibera Shilanga from 2PM to 4PM.
