BREAKING: Langa Is Dead

News reaching our desk is that Langa, the Tanzanian artist who was discovered on the Homeboyz/CocaCola popstars reality show, died today.

 He was taken to Muhimbili hospital in an unconscious state, where he succumbed to his death. 

He was part of the Wakilisha group alongside other members Witness and Sara. I remember how DJ John and the Homeboyz crew had started out by looking for singers, and he was the only rapper allowed to move into the later stages of the competition. They made a special exception for him, because they deemed him to be so good at rapping.

Rest in peace Langa.
