Nonini Lashes Out At Igembe South MP Mithika Linturi

Rapper, radio presenter and father of Genge Nonini is an agitated man with Igembe South legislator. Not because he is on the frontline championing for higher pay perks but because of his “ignorant behaviour”.

Apparently, Linturi referred to Isaac Mwaura, a nominated MP with albinism, a cowboy because he likes wearing a hat. This did not go down with Nonini because he has been in the pole position fighting for persons living with the condition, through his Colour Kwa Face campaign.

Here’s Nonini’s rant;

Mithika Linturi Mp mzima wa Igembe South Constituency calls Isaac Mwaura the nominated ODM MP a cowboy because he is wearing a hat, the Speaker looks on.

Remember that Isaac suffers from albinism and the hat is meant to shield him from intense light.

#SomeOneTellLinturi Albinism is a condition characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of an enzyme involved in the production of melanin. Thus, the most critical care of people living with albinism is to protect their skin against direct sunlight. Thus, during the day, they have to wear hats,(Hence Isaac Mwaura’s hat) sunglasses and, most importantly, apply sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF).

Shame On Linturi……Speaker should not allow this kind of ignorant behavior in the house.

Linturi should offer a private and public apology to Mweshimiwa Isaac Mwaura!
