Famous Vernacular Station Presenter Beats Up His Wife Severely

Violence against women is an everyday reality in Kenya and does occur in both rural and urban areas; among the rich and the poor. On Monday evening, immediate former Inooro FM presenter and now Kameme FM presenter Simon Kabue Mburu better known as Man Simo assaulted his wife.

According to sources, he arrived home drunk in the company of a young girl whom he had picked from a bar he was drinking at. On arrival, his wife opened the door for him, but was surprised to see her husband in the company of another woman.

Immediately, Kabue demanded money from his wife in order to go out and continue drinking with the girl but she declined to give in to his demands and that’s when hell broke loose. Kabue pounced on her and beat her senseless until she was critically wounded.

The commotion startled neighbours who called the police who arrested Kabue and locked him up in a police station in Eastlands.

Man Simo used to host “CUA CUA” show alongside Katta every evening (Monday through Friday from 4PM TO 7PM) on Inooro FM but has since joined Kameme FM.
