The Guy Who Sang “Mysterious Girl” Was Recently In Kenya

Peter Andre had ‘the most fantastic time you could imagine’ on safari with girlfriend Emily MacDonagh last week.

The singer, 40, and medical student Emily, 23, jetted off to Kenya to see elephants, hippos and buffalos in the wild.

‘We were staying in Meru National Park and our accommodation had no windows at all, so it meant we were completely at one with nature,’ says Peter.

‘All that was between us and the lions and elephants was a little mosquito net!’

Some parts of Peter’s romantic trip were filmed for his ITV2 show My Life but he made sure he and Emily got plenty of private time together as well.

The couple tried to cut themselves off from things back at home, although Peter admits he missed his children Junior and Princess lots.

‘We turned off our phones while we were away and we had no internet or TV where we were staying, so it was great to get away from it all and properly relax,’ says Peter.

‘We enjoyed a few candlelit dinners and on the last night, we went to an amazing restaurant in Nairobi called Carnivore.’
