Size 8: “When I Was Secular, I Used To Cry At Night After Shows”
Today, Size 8 set off a storm when she announced that she was going gospel.
We wrote about the sensational move online, and this prompted Mzazi Willy M. Tuva to invite me over to his Radio Citizen office to talk about it. We called up Size 8 and she told us why she switched to secular.
Willy M. Tuva: Tuanze namna hii… unajua mtu akifika turning point ya kuokoka, huwa kuna vitu ambavyo vinampeleka yeye kuokoka. What was your turning point?
Size 8: Maisha yangu ilikuwa sawa. Ndio hapo nikagundua yesu.”
Size 8 was known for her seductive routines on stage, as well as her provocative dance style and ways of dressing. Could it be this that made her feel guilty?
Besides that, DNG, who has also recently turned from secular music to God, has come out in support of Size 8.
Size 8 has already released her first gospel song, which you can listen to here.
