Ever since they were nominated for the BET Awards a while back, followed by other nominations by global awards, Camp Mulla gained respect and recognition through out Africa.
It is this recognition of greatness that has made it possible for them to collaborate with some of the biggest African artistes, among them, WizKid, Banky W, L-Tido, among others.
Just recently, they did a major collaboration with five huge African rappers. Among them were the above named artistes, in the song, ‘African Blood’ that was released just some few days ago.
Just last week, another top rated Nigerian artistes flew into the country. Wonda Boy jetted into the country on Wednesday, according to sources, to collaborate with Camp Mulla in a song titled ‘Overload’, as organised by producer, Black Man.
“The song is about being born to conquer and overlooking hardship.Overload is a fusion of Afro-beat and techno/house, a trend-setter not only in Nigeria but in Africa. The song is bound to be a success and will both increase Camp Mulla’s leverage in Nigeria as well as give audience to a new fusion sound that Blackman is confident the audiences will like. The arrangement to have the Nigerian artiste in Nairobi for the recording session was organised by “Blackman who works with many artistes and his manger got in touch with him. The rest is history,” Wonda Boy told sources.
The Nigerian rapper will also be working with other Kenyan artistes before his departure.
