Kelele Takatifu deny being stranded in Nakuru after being conned by promoter
Shortly after it was reported that Kelele Takatifu, one of the biggest Kenyan gospel groups, was left stranded in Nakuru after the promoter ran away with their money, Kelele Takatifu came out to set the record straight.
Let me just start from the top. So, last Friday, Kelele Takatifu along with Kimdanny were set to perform at the Laikipia College in Nakuru. Being the young go gettas they are, they did not disappoint. They delivered a shaking performance for the fans. Shortly after they were done, it is alleged that the promoter, Mr. Flavour, flee with all the money without paying them a cent, leaving them stranded in Nakuru for the rest of the night.
Our sources even added that it was so bad, that the group had to seek help from friends and family back in Nairobi, to ferry them home.
After speaking to one of Kelele Takatifu’s rappers however, all was denied. Apparently, the only problem that they came across after the show was the brief delay in payment. That they were eventually paid and left Nakuru Saturday morning.
