CRUEL: This is how the Nyayo Stadium event organizers cancelled the World Cry Peace Concert

After waiting for a month and a half for the World Cry Peace Concert that was set to bring two huge Jamaican artistes to Kenya, the show gets postponed.

It would have been just two weeks before the concert takes place but unfortunately the Nyayo Stadium event organizers messed up the splendid arrangements that the Big Tunes Live had established, by double booking.

How one would book for two huge events on the same day and same venue, we really don’t understand. But what’s done is done.

The Jah Cure and Duane Stephenson concert has been postponed. The new date for the concert has not been announced yet but will be available on Ghafla as soon as it’s out.

We just found out how the Nyayo Stadium crew alerted the Big Tunes Live event organizers about the unavailability of the venue and we have to say that this is just cruel and unprofessional.

This is what they sent Big Tunes, through a text message.
“16th February 2013 will not be available to host your event at Nyayo Stadium. Apology for any inconvenience cost.”
