Bernsoft Wages An All Out War On Music Pirates
Bernsoft has widened the war against music piracy by enlisting support from the Kenya Copyright Board and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for those pirating from outside Kenya. Bernsoft is said to be going after companies that are offering Music content for download free against the artist, composer, performer, publisher wishes.
We have received proof that they are getting help from the highest levels of the Ministry to have servers of a Turkey-based website disabled and the operators arrested for copyright infringement under Turkish law.
Bernard Kioko, the CEO of Bernsoft Interactive, is a well known digital music rights activist, who has published many papers and given multiple speeches on the rights of musicians and how they could make money off of new electronic media. His efforts have been well documented here.
