Exclusive: Willy Paul A Liar! Says The Lady He Is Rumoured To Have Slept With!

Ladies and gents, we have the pleasure of introducing Pendo; the lady rumoured to have had a fling at Kisima Awards.

Well, today she came to see her dede Chim Tuna to have a little chat. What came out of the interview was nothing short of explosive. The attractive Pendo held no punches especially after her erstwhile friend Willy Paul took to radio (Tina Kagia’s show) to denounce her. What i thought was a joke (Willy Paul even taking the rumours seriously and even dignifying them with a response) has now become a sad story.
Pendo didn’t come off as fake, she came off as a genuinely hurt lass who feels betrayed by her friend (Willy Paul’s) refusal to in the least acknowledge her as a friend.

Uncle Chim Tuna: So tell us about yourself as an individual before we go into all that. So what have you been upto?
Pendo: Uhm, ok. i’ve been upto alot. First i’m a singer, i’m a model and i’m a designer in my own way. My name is Pendo and don’t say a.k.a Pendo, Pendo’s my real name. I want to release a song, actually, it’s called “Washa”.

UCT: Aye, cool. Let’s just get into it. So for those of you who don’t know, Pulse ran a story about a gospel artist who they claim was busted having sex at the KICC basement with a secular artist during the Kisima Awards. but when you sought out the chaff from wheat, it was Willy Paul and you that they were talking about. So Pulse never ran any names so why did you and Willy Paul come out?
P: I first saw the story on Pulse but when it came out, it didn’t bother me cos i knew it wasn’t me. I never freaked out or anything, i was just like argh! It’s just another rumour. Until Nairobi exposed called me out. Apparently they had a source who even claimed that Will and i had been seen holding hands in town -that’s a lie! Immediatel;y after the Nairobi Exposed story ran, guys connected it to the Pulse story.

UCT: How did people respond to that story?
P: Will called me up early in the morning and he was angry. He accused me of fabricating that story but i don’t blame him. It’s understandable because i know alot of media personalities. But he went to the extent of saying i paid Nairobi Exposed to create that lie but come on, why would i use someone like Will when i know industry heavyweights whom i can ask for favours?
We even met face to face with Will and tried to sort everything out. He even explained himself and said that he was really angry and had even contacted Nairobi Exposed to say that he doesn’t know me. I was like, “Seriously? How can you say you don’t know me and i have texts from you?”

UCT: That’s interesting cos Willy Paul was on One Active with the lovely Tina Kagia and he basically threw you under the bus. He said that you are an artist looking to benefit from his traction.
P: What i’d like to say about that is how can he say i am looking for fame through him when he knows full well that i know alot of industry heavyweights? I could have used them, not Willy Paul! It doesn’t make sense!
