Nonini Replaces the Entire 1FM Breakfast Team

So, looks like it is not only Tina Kaggia who is leaving 1FM’s breakfast show. Marcus Olang’ who has long hosted the show with different co-hosts is leaving the station permanently. Tina Kaggia, however, is moving later in the day to host mid-morning. Tina Kaggia previously hosted the mid-morning show on Classic 105.

The two are being replaced by Genge music artiste, Nonini, who was already on air this morning. It is not clear where Marcus Olang’ is going to next, or if he is even moving to another radio station in the first place.

Nonini is a multi-award winning artiste who started out in Calif Records and is one of the pioneers of the Genge music style. He was recently elected as an official at the Music Copyright Society of Kenya.
