CLD Defends His Choice to Marry a Granny (Photo)

For some time now, most “struggling” artistes especially from the Coast have been hooking foreign elderly Caucasian women in a quest for a befitting lifestyle and subsequently status. Truth be told though, most of them are in the practice just for the money, but not so for one CLD.

The Kabinti hit maker may have sung about looking for a “kabinti” and his wish just became a reality. According to One FM, the Mombasa-based artiste is married to a foreign white woman. She is of advanced age but to CLD, “age ain’t nothing but a number.”

Recently interviewed concerning the marriage, CLD had this to say, “A marriage is a marriage and it doesn’t matter whether you’ve tied the knot to a granny or a tot. I married out of love and not money.”
On the face of it, the comfort that older white foreign women come with is irresistible for most youth from the coast going by the number of guys who are ready to do anything to wire up these grannies.
