Nyota Ndogo Now Goes For Donkeys

It seems singing is not the only passion for taarab-influenced pop musician Nyota Ndogo . After successfully doing a hot collabo with Sauti Sol back in July, the Coast-based songbird is back to her ambassadorial ways.

For some time now, the enthralling singer has been leading a campaign that fights for the rights of donkeys. Dubbed Mtunze Punda Akutunze, the initiative aims at encouraging donkey owners to treat the animals benevolently. Nyota Ndogo urges everyone to report anyone who mistreats their donkey(s) to the police or nearby chief’s office.

Nyota Ndogo has in the past been involved in a similar initiative only with a different goal. She was a goodwill ambassador championing the fight against drugs at the coast.
