Sarakasi Trust, nestled in Ngara is a beacon of hope for fledgling talent.

The Trust which was established in 2001 aims at not just nurturing talent but empowering the artists and performers. The Trust had an opportunity to showcase some of the talent in their stable and they didn’t disappoint.

The SAWA SAWA FEST featured some dancers from the Trust and they were gyrating and dancing as though bones are a mere suggestion to their anatomies. The dancers came on stage with Nyota Ndogo and they did not disappoint. At some point, they were even the focus of the performance!
And the back up band that performed? Would you expect anything less of musical perfection? Especially when they backed up Yunasi. The energy from the group (Yunasi) and the rhythms from the band were a killer combination!
