City council can paint over graffiti but not music
We are already tired of our political class taking advantage of the ordinary mwananchi to the extent that we saw graffiti sprout up on City walls done by our own talented youths, complaining of serious issues that are happening in the country.
The government tried to surpress this form of expression, but now hip hop sensation Nash has dropped his new single ‘Siku Njema’ in which he has incorporated the graffiti with music.
Nyash flow is definitely a representation of the Mau Mau/Uko Flaani swag and this where we get the real hip hoppers in Kenyan soil as they only deal with issues.
To us, the best part about this song is that it advises the youth not to wait for the government to help them, but instead they have to work towards the change they want.
