Staying fresh to death has been on the agenda of many Kenyans lately. I love the enthusiasm of the Kenyan youth when it comes to fashion. Be it on the video shoots, the streets of Nairobi, or even in the riots,
you can proudly say “I was there…”, if your swagg was 100%!
This is the field where I can safely say Kenyan artistes have made us proud. It is kinda hard to say who rules this swagg kingdom, but obvious names to be mentioned will be King of bling:Prezzo, P Unit, Collo, Redsan, Camp Mulla, African Superman(Bamzi), Code Red Deejays, Nonini, Coolagang, Jimmy Gait, DNG, Avril, Sauti sol, just to mention alot.
Swagg is best represented on music videos, and I think without a doubt, the track ‘gentleman’ for P Unit and Sauti Sol hobours major swagg.
The behind the scences video of Camp mulla’s ‘Fresh all day’ also showcases alot of swagg among the teens. Uganda and Tanzania got ‘SQUAT’ on us when it comes to rocking Gucci, DnG, Prada, Loui Vuitton, while sippin’ on some Cirroc… hell yeah! That’s the 254flow. We got hella swag!!!
