27 Year Old Man Prepares To Marry His 70 Year Old Lover…Who Claims She Is Pregnant (Photo)

They say age is just a number and for this unlikely couple, this old adage rings 100% true.

27-year-old Steven Tikubuwana sent many reeling in shock after her declared that he will marry his 70-year-old love, one Zaituni Nakanda.

Uganda’s Sunday Vision reveals that the couple who live together in Zaituni’s single-room at Kyungu, Mukono municipality met in 2014 after Tikubuwana lost his job as a shamba boy.

“I lost my job and was homeless for about two months. She welcomed me into her home. At first, she seemed afraid but later warmed up to me.” He told Sunday Vision.

This relationship has been met with disapproval by neighbors and friends who think it’s really unsettling for the two to date due to the immense age gap, after all Zaituni is old enough to be his grandmother leave alone his mother.

But the two remain unmoved by their naysayers with Zaituni saying that having a man by her side is a miracle especially a man like Tikubuwana who is unashamed of introducing her as his wife.

And to prove that they have been doing more than living together in their humble abode, Zaituni says that she is expecting a child with the young lad. Something which doctors who examined her at Mulago Hospital rebut. But she remains unfazed and believes she is with child despite being childless and never having her menses.
