Kidero Discredits KOT’s Brouhaha And Offers Explanation On The Plants Being Uprooted Along Mombasa Road

Finally! Nairobi Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero has come out to defend himself against the mob that was lynching him for uprooting crops he hurriedly planted.

Early today, the fierce #KOT was busy hurling all sorts of insults at Nairobi sheriff after photos and a video showing workers uprooting plants came to light.

The Governor was quick to offer his explanation regarding the same. His statement totally contradicts what KOT was earlier purporting.

While it was obvious workers were up ripping out the plants, they weren’t doing so because they were returning them to their owners.

Folks were saying the crops were hired that’s why Kidero was quick to return them to their rightful owners before the lease expires.

Kidero says the appointed contractor was restoring the ground in order to do proper planting. He added that the quality of grass selected usually takes time to grow!

So Nairobians better be patient and stop lynching Kidero, the grass will grow!
