Mzee Ojwang’s Entourage Brings The CBD To Abrupt Standstill (Photos)

Mzee Ojwang’s body is being ferried across Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) to give fans the last chance to bid him final goodbye.

Kenyans are celebrating the life of MzeeOjwang in style! Today when his entourage made its way into the CBD from Kenya National Theatre, enchanted mourners were vigorously shaking legs and for a moment one would confuse the scene to a wedding carnival.

Mzee’s entourage entered the CBD through Moi Avenue making an impromptu stopover at Archives where the likes of Odiek, Mama Kayai, Nyasuguta and other mourners, alighted from their vehicles to dance in the middle of the road.

A large portrait of Mzee was being carried as mourners danced in a circle. The dance lasted for approximately 10 minutes before proceeding to Nyayo Stadium.
