South African couple Steve and Nicky Fitzgerald who have worked in the hospitality industry for ages have invested over 1.48 Billion Kshs on a quaint opulent camp in the heart of Maasai Mara.

The recently opened luxury camp in Maasai Mara is called ‘Angama Mara’ and is expected to give a grand boost to the growing tourism industry which is still standing on shaky ground.

So what does it cost to spend a night in this unbelievably good-looking place? For a night there, you are expected to cough up 750 dollars which translates to 73,913 Kshs per night which will include “safari activities and full board accommodation. “

The camp was the work of South African architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens together with Annemarie Meintjes.
