Over 3,000 Excited Students Turn Out To Watch Shaniqwa Perform. She Drives Them Wild!
Since her debut,KTN Socialite Shaniqwa has NOT shown any signs of slowing down. She’s super funny, sassy, feisty, impromptu, wild, crazy and downright creative. And loved by millions…
Now,last week,Shaniqwa,of the Popular parody show JAMENI showed up at a City School to shoot a simple episode of one of his TV skits when the kids learn of his presence in their school.
Shaniqwa, who had been accompanied by the whole Jameni crew from Geoffrey Omondi (Raila),to Romwar Ndar(Kyeff Joinambe) to Harrison Mareka(Kibaki),showed up at the school some minutes after lunch time when the kids were in class…
But after the shoot, which took place in one of the school offices, the children requested to watch their idol,Shaniqwa perform for them. And,just like that, their wish was granted.
Quickly, every Jameni actor was now called upon to perform for the crows that had already jammed the parade ground…
One by one,the Jameni actors took to the stage and did what they knew best-cracking ribs. Teachers, too, fell over themselves in laughter.
All this time,Shaniqwa had been hiding in the staffroom as she had been told that her presence at the assembly ground would cause havoc…And when it was finally time to invite Shaniqwa on stage, the whole school went wild. Teachers, too, couldn’t hide their apparent excitement.
Escorted by the School Principal,Shaniqwa was brought out of the staffroom to a chorus of thousands of students screaming and shouting and hollering at him.
The excited students surged forward, falling over each other…Hoping to see their idol up close and others struggled to touch her…
“Mambooo?” Shaniqwa started, going up the stairs…
“Poaaaa…” the pupils answered right back almost immediately, their hands flailing in the air, their screams hard to control and their excitement running over the edge.
Throwing their sweaters in the air and clapping wildly, the students welcomed Shaniqwa to the stage on which she performed for half an hour and presented two packets of sweets to the huge masses of breathless students gathered below…
Even when the show was over, the pupils didn’t want to leave and they loudly urged Shaniqwa to hang on a little longer…But time was up.
You can always catch episodes of Shaniqwa’s hilarious TV skits on KTN every Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
