What Citizen TV News Anchors Were Accused Of Will Shock You

It’s no secret that since the onset of the digital age; traditional media does not have as much traction as it used to have. 

It can be likened to the fate of the telephone after mobile phones were introduced. Maybe that is why they fought digital migration so ferociously before they realized the futility of it all.

But it will take some time before they become completely obsolete. However, Citizen TV which Francis Gachiuri works for came under fire from lifting articles from the ‘hip’ new-age tabloids such as the Nairobian.

This is what Cate Mukei of Nairobian wrote:

I totally agree with Nzau Ya Musau that indeed Majority TV is struggling. Francis Gachuri si you tell your news anchors to credit Nairobian angalau when they lift content. Tell them to make Silas Nyanchwani and I famous. Tunaumia buana!

To which Francis Gachiuri replied “ Tulieni Cate Mukei na Nzau Ya Musau. Tuko hii town. We are trying to identify your mole in our office. How a topic of discussion we agreed on last Wednesday ended up in the super gossip paper is beyond comprehension.” before cheekily adding “But its nice that a majority station can discuss a topic the Nairobian thought of.”
