Forget the ‘Skimpy’ Dress at the TPF Finale; Ruth Matete Finally Rocks a Dress That Will Have the Haters Talking (PHOTOS)
During the TPF finale in 2013, Ruth Matete wore a dress that had criticism hitting her like a ton of bricks.
The dress was termed as ‘skimpy’ and ‘inappropriate’ as it exposed her thighs in a show that was deemed family friendly.
Following this incidence she was forced top apologize profusely saying that “Having let so many down, I am lost for words to express my sincere apology for my inappropriate dress during the TPF final show. Without making excuses, I must say that I am indeed sorry. The pressure that comes with performance and fame can drive one to make mistakes. I am indeed a work in progress. I pray that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me and not give up on me. I am sincerely sorry for my wrong. I have sought the counsel of my mentors and spiritual cover. I know under their guidance, I will continue to grow and become more like Christ.”
And this time her outfit of choice is back in the news, this time because of a beautiful satin dress she wore while receiving her award at the popular Groove Awards.
