Whenever a woman makes it to the top too fast without a sign of growth, you will hear many nay-sayers say “k**a lazima ilitembea” (forgive the vulgarity of this statement), meaning that she must have slept her way up.
And while this statement may be applicable to some, it’s not applicable to all. There are those women who go through grit and grime to become the polished goddesses they are today, and one of them is Catherine Kamau who says that we do not have to peddle our body to the top. There is another way to get to the top by working your behind off, it may take longer, but it’s worth it.
