Warrant Of Arrest Issued Against Jeff Koinange!

The king of Kenyan Talk Show is now wanted by the police, Jeff Koinange could be a guest of the state if the warrant of arrest issued against him is anything to go by.

A Nairobi court yesterday issued a warrant of arrest against Jeff Koinange and businessman Tony Gachoka for contempt of court.

Jeff failed to appear in court to answer charges of discussing the conduct of a company in the media despite a court order barring him.

The plaintiff argues that Jeff and Tony discussed defamatory statements on Jeff Koinange Live that caused their company, Kwacha Group of Companies Limited, massive losses.

Businessmen, Sani Mbui Wanjigi and Jimi Wanjigi, had obtained orders on March 20 barring Jeff Koinange, KTN and the Standard Media Group from broadcasting or publishing alleged defamatory statements concerning them and the company.

The lawyer to the two businessmen wants the company paid a total of Sh60 million as compensation for defamation.
