After Beating Up Vanessa Chettle, Popular PR Strategist Is Accused Of Being Con And A Thief

Sandra Bartonjo came under the ugly glare of the spotlight after a Nax Vegas party went sour. She was involved in a backstage altercation with Socialite Vanessa Chettle that ended up with Vanessa Chettle sustaining a gash on one side of her face.

Well the busty babe is under the spotlight again after allegedly swindling 35,000 shillings from vendors at barbeque live.

The 2 vendors Yvonne Nyandong’ and Laura, claim that they met Sandra through a common friend and she told them she was working for Barbeque live and could get them a stall to sell their goods. Not knowing that she has no authority to receive the money.

The two vendors sent the girl who is quite the party animal 35,000 shillings for the venue and she accepted liability if things went wrong she would pay them 100,000. In addition, she also sent them this contract:

What’s more the two lasses claim that Sandra called them at odd hours asking for the additional money.

Despite all this, when they arrived at the event , there was no tent to vend off their items and they were forbidden from accessing the venue.

Since then they claim that Sandra has been very dodgy and the two have resorted to dealing with the organizers of barbeque live sending this:

Hi,

This email is sent as a follow up after the vendor issue at your event on Saturday, where Sandra Bartonjo did not make payments for the stand despite receiving money. We incurred a huge loss based on this.
Since there is no clear communication amongst the partners. We need to know the way forward as she accepted to refund monies spent. Sandra has mentioned you’ve declined to let her access funds, which she agreed to reimburse.

As we agreed she is to pay for the losses incurred immediately. The other partners did not do our transaction; therefore we feel it would be unfair to taint the image of the company based on one person. However if this is not resolved immediately, we have no option but to go ahead and pursue the issue legally as she represents the company.

I understand you need receipts, we have requested Sandra to forward the receipt. We shall attach all expenditure. We expect full reimbursement for initial costs plus stand fees. We are not after projected sales.

Kindly, let us know the way forward. We were to collect money on Saturday as she said she would have money after bar sales were reconciled. Now it’s a push and pull situation. Yesterday we were made to understand Jose was to get back to her, kindly get in touch via email or on 0716978***.

Hi Yvonne,

Thank you for your email. However, we choose not to further engage ourselves in this matter as none of the directors of the company was involved in your deal with Sandra.
Sandra is not and has never been a director at BBQ live. She is an employee who is in charge of entertainment management and is not in anyway authorized to transact any business in relation to vendors.

Its unfortunate she misrepresented the company and even went further to receive money in the pretense that she would offer a vendor stall at the event while she clearly knew that she is not allowed to deal with vendors or sign any document on behalf of the company.

Bbq live did not receive any money from Sandra in relation to issuing of a vendor stall.
We even have an official company line on the poster in case someone has any inquiries so I don’t understand how you decided to go direct to Sandra.

We however wish to clarify that we do not mind working with your company in future events if proper channels are followed and you book your stand on time.
My apologies for what happened.please take it up with Sandra for any kind of reimbursement you would want.

And the vendors replied with this:

We worked with Sandra as she represented herself as one of the partners and even sent the documents bearing your company name.

It explains why the contract took long to be signed and all. Considering how well known Sandra is, one would not think this would happen.

Thanks for the clarity, this even makes it easier to sort out as its obtaining money under false pretense. As we had already reported the issue we shall follow it up using the correct channels.

The young girls claim that they have already reported the issue to the police.

 We called up Sandra who said that their side of the story was a lie, saying that the girls had been given their tent as previously agreed, and she will be working for Barbeque live when the next edition comes. Citing that there is now way an employer would still keep her on board if she stole as she was accused. Further more, she claimed that the two girls were well known for ripping off people.

We asked her to produce any document substantiating her claims but she declined to do so.

Adding that Ghafla have written about her before but she didn’t die.
