Notable Radio Presenter Harshly Criticizes Maina Kageni. Find Out why

Since the birth of his show about a decade ago, Maina has had his share of critics. He has received barbs from those that feel that ‘he eroded the morals of society’ and from those that feel his show is just too hot for a morning show.

But despite the backlash, his show continued to grow in leaps and bounds with thousands streaming in for a dose of the daily drama. Maina had found his niche and the critics were soon shushed because as we all know numbers did not lie, and the score board favored Maina.

Yesterday, the King of morning Radio discussed something which rubbed people off the wrong way, ‘women many Kenyan men avoid – Kikuyu women’ me included. You can check out my rant here

After the article, Maina got criticized for his show by an unlikely person, his friend even. Njogu wa Njoroge of Kameme F.M is one of the most iconic radio presenters in radio today and had this to say:

Maina Kageni is my brother. I respect his prowess in broadcasting. He is a superstar. We last met last Wednesday at Karen Country Club as we were getting on the course for Barclays ProAm Competition. He had a better day on the course than me. But i have just listened to a repeat of his show this morning. I tend to think it was offensive to Kikuyu Women.
