KTN Trolled Again For Making Another Blunder. See What They Did This Time Round

The eyes are watching! Kenyans have a very queer behavior; one minute they may be praising you then out of the blue turn their compliment into mockery. Wait till you trip to know how ruthless Kenyans on the internet can be.

It’s not the first time KTN has been a subject of ridicule. During TV blackout, KTN and other stations were on the receiving end after Kenyans opened a flood of insults at them for boycotting digital migration.

This time round, it isn’t their stand that made Kenyans make a fool out of them. It’s what they did on social media that earned them a spot on Kenyans’ tongues.

KTN made a slip with their tweet as they were busy updating Kenyans on the names of individuals blacklisted for having a connection with Al Shabaab.

In their tweet, the station said KNUT Secretary General, Wilson Sossion, was going through some of the names mentioned as alleged Al Shabaab associates. (They wrote Wilson Sossion when they meant Wilson Mburu.)

Even though this was clearly a mistake on the part of KTN, Kenyans on social media ridiculed the station jokingly saying Sossion was a news anchor at the station.

“BREAKING: Wilson Sossion lands a new Job at KTN as a News Anchor.” Someone wrote on the internet.

Well, if that gaffe makes you laugh, go on and laugh louder. After all, laughter is said to be the best medicine.
