This Is Why CNN Might Be Suing NTV For Copyright Infringement!!

My ego is bruised, I just called 0719038808 which is the NTV’s news desk hotline, I had an issue that I wanted to clarify with the parties involved. After asking what I wanted in the most amicable and  professional way, the lady I talked to was completely rude, she called me vain, stupid and an Idle timewaster! The nerve! It is not in my capacity to generalize on the lack of ethics in such a reputable establishment,. I am not a moral-god, I shall leave you to read the interesting account of how not-so clever NTV honcho copied the new AMlive template from CNN!

It was pointed out to me by Eugene that the concept used by NTV for their Am Live Promo was copied from CNN. The promo for the breakfast show hosted by Kobi Kihara, Sheila Mwanyigha and Debarl is  new one that is barely a week old on Youtube.  It has been copied from CNN’s It’s a new day!

 That ladies and gentlemen is Copyright infringement. The use of works protected by copyright law without permission, infringing certain exclusive rights granted to the copyright holder, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the protected work, or to make derivative works.

By deriving their promo from a work that CNN did in 2013, NTV committed copyright infringement. Someone obviously slept on his job and probably pocketed a few coins at the expense of the whole establishment.
