The name Tony Nyadundo is synonymous with ohangla music, a genre that can only be associated with “phenomenal”-Growing up, I listened to Tony Nyadundo, courtesy of my mother-who loved Ohangla, though no one could make out what the words meant, we loved the beats,we could sing through it. Tony, the Ohangla mogul is well known the country over. Over the years, the name Tony has become a household name, unfortunately, Tony was not so lucky yesterday.
Tony was in kisumu where he was to perform at an event, unfortunately, he was assaulted and roughed up by bandits who left him in a pool of his own blood . Well wishers who came by him rushed him to a health facility where he is nursing wounds on the face and back of the head.
