Sonko Dispatches His Team To Rescue The 100 Year Old Granny From The Confines Of Prison (Photos)
The ageing grandmother, Ngima Gakoromo Margaret Ngina, reunited with her family and friends after the philanthropic Senator, Mike Sonko, paid the Kes 100,000 bail that made her to be thrown in prison.
Yesterday the country was shocked by the cruelty of our judicial system when Kenyans learnt that a 100 year old granny was sent behind bars for failing to pay Kes 100,000 bond.

The shocking incident touched Mike Sonko so much that he decided to act on it. Despite being the Senator for Nairobi, Sonko sent his team all the way to Embu County to extend his helping hand to the poor granny.
Sonko Rescue Team took Ngima back to her home where she was reunited with her excited grandchildren. Sonko also promised a full medical check-up for the elderly woman.
