Justice Is served: The Con We Wrote About and Who Had Appeared on Young Rich Has Been Arrested After Evading Arrest For Days (photos)

About a month ago, we highlighted a heartbreaking story of a young lady who had been swindled by a certain James Waititu who purported to be a web-developer. The amount, a whooping  350,000 Kenyan Shillings! James Karuri had erstwhile been featured on young rich where he had gloated to the world about his riches… Excellent PR.  Now a month after we highlighted the story, Nyatichi Gesare is on her way to getting justice. Mr. James Karuri who  had been evading arrest for the last two weeks was cornered last Friday as he made one of his usual rounds at the TRM java. The complainant would reveal on Saturday: 

 “A good trap was laid to arrest this professional con today (btw he has evaded my traps twice). So today was the D-day alale ndani hadi Monday twende kotini. We camped at TRM with five policemen waiting for him lol. Kidogo, the young rich milionare rolled in in his ‘hummer’ (posting the pics of the hummer shortly) and the policemen wakajigawanya you could easily think that the trap was that of arresting a terrorist lol. They literary took postions hadi kwa that rooftop (parking area). Now the TRM security instructed James to park immediately in the TRM front parking area when they noticed he was the criminal being sought. He pretended to be parking there but all over a sudden changed his course and naakaponyoka na speed ingine hadi that parking behind TRM. He did not even park his car properly akaruka nje, left his car open and was like ‘kaguu niponye’ he ran kama mtu ameona kifo lol. TRM security was notified, his car was clamped and it will be towed to the police station tomorrow….

After fleeing from the police on Saturday, the con was arrested earlier today and is awaiting to be taken to court tomorrow to answer charges. A jubilated Nyatichi would say that she was overjoyed that the culprit had been nailed.

His car was clamped at the TRM parking lot after he fled on foot upon realizing that he was being sought by the police. 

It is time men learnt to treat women with respect and not take advantage of them as the weaker sex.
