She stands out to be counted as one of the few teens who have already made a positive impact in the lives of others. But Michelle Wanjiru Kariuki hasn’t achieved what she wants with her Pink Gal Foundation. Not yet!
Just like the 17-year Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan who received the Nobel Peace Prize for risking her live to protect children from slavery, extremism and child labor, Michelle is using her foundation to help vulnerable females.
Having seen the problems faced by fellow teenage girls, the big hearted Michelle decided to start an organization that would improve the lives of girls and women in all aspect of their lives; from education to maternal and child health.
The teen has faced mountain challenges in her quest to make a positive difference in the lives of young girls and women.
She juggles her studies and her work at Pink Gal Foundation which is a very hard task for a 16 year old teen. Even so, Michelle is undeterred in her pursuit of success for both her education and organization.
Her impressive work has been applauded the world over by people from different walks of life. Her foundation spearheads the liberation girls by giving them a voice and that’s her biggest motivation that keeps her going.
