In as much as sewing can largely be classified as a blue-collar job with ‘not so much’ turnover to milk, believe it or not, Cherehani Africa generates over 40 million annually from participants who largely comprises of rural women.
The company assists women in rural areas improve their livelihoods by giving them sewing machines on loan.
Before Wesley teamed up with Robert Mboya to form Cherehani Africa , his marketing company had hit the wall dragging him to bankruptcy. He was forced to switch off his phone and he rushed back to his rural home to avoid his creditors.
