Revealed: This Is How Citizen TV’s Owner SK Macharia And NMG Duped KTN To Blindly Support Their Analogue Transmission Push

KTN stands out to be the biggest loser in the analogue switch off as Nation Media Group and Royal Media Services appear to be unshaken by the three weeks blackout.

Revered media personality, Caroline Mutoko, has come out to spill the beans on the biggest winners and losers of analogue transmission switch off.

The former Kiss FM radio queen revealed Citizen TV’s owner, SK Macharia and NMG were the biggest winners of the TV blackout.

“You think nation prints newspapers? No, those guys print cash. The broadcasting arm of NMG probably doesn’t make that much compared to the paper which means really if they were to actually leave out the threat to stay off air until June, they can afford it. THEY CAN AFFORD it to the tune of 3.59 billion. If businesses need a lot of fat to stay floating through hard times, the Nation is obese.” Caroline illustrated.

Shifting her attention to SK Macharia, the alpha female disclosed the Citizen TV boss would still survive for three more Months after his TV station was slapped by the switch off.

Caroline explained the RMS owner wasn’t emotional about things revealing his nine radio stations could keep him going for a few extra Months.

“The difference between SK and a lot of people in this town is that he is a very screwed and also a very brutal businessman. I mean I remember ages ago when he had this, I think he called it royal card. That man just shut it down and opened something else.” The delightful Caroline explained.

On the part of Standard Group, Caroline said they were the lightweight and biggest losers of analogue switch off.

She said SMG were almost entirely depending on KTN and therefore they couldn’t afford to stay off air for long.

“KTN is the mothership of the standard group. And the mothership is hand reaching. The Standard group CANNOT afford to let their mothership set out three Months without revenue because the paper and the radio station can’t sustain that payroll.” The former radio queen uttered.

Was NMG and RMS only deceiving SMG when in actual sense they weren’t feeling the impact of the switch off unlike the former?
