Robert Alai Calculatingly Mocks NTV, KTN And Citizen TV For Blindly Getting Themselves Tricked

Controversial blogger, Robert Alai, is now poking fun on the predicament that befell the three leading media houses. He claims the three unknowingly fell for a trap that meant to ‘tame’ them.

Remember when members of the fourth estate were invited to State House for a meeting with the head of state in 2013? Well, according to Alai, the meeting was the genesis of the trouble the three media houses (Royal Media Service, Standard Media Group and Nation Media Group) are now facing.

Alai alleges the meeting was meant to ‘tranquilize’ the media as a plan to clip their wings was being formulated. He blamed the media for easily falling for the trick.

“They were offered tea. They didn’t know that to catch a chicken for slaughter, kut kut kut with some maize on the hand plays the trick.” Alai wrote in part.

Even though he never mentioned names, one needs not to be told who he was referring to as only RMS, NMG and SMG are having issues with digital migration.

The blogger went on to assert digital migration was there to stay.

“But ‪Digital Migration LAZIMA kama matako ndogo kwa mwenyewe.” Wrote Alai.
