Man Pens An Emotional Poem Requesting Njoki Chege To Go Slow On Men
Letter to City Girl is the title of the poem that is addressed to Nation Newspaper writer and columnist Njoki Chege.
Changez Ndzai, a Giriama poet from the Coastal City of Kenya, has penned an emotional poem requesting Njoki Chege to kindly spare men her wrath which she has spilled again and again in her ever catchy articles on the daily nation.
Famously known as City Girl, Njoki came into the limelight when she took issue with men who drive Blue Subarus, calling them lowly and not worthy her attention.
She further placed a hot nail on the wound she had caused by slamming men on instagram, swearing never to date again.
Many hated her for this while others loved her for the boldness she exhibited.
But it seems someone has been feeling the pain of Njoki’s jibes. The poet has penned this poem addressed to the writer, stating how disastrous it has been to men and how undermining it has been.
Here is the poem:
LETTER TO CITY GIRL.
Enough is enough your words are pepper,
Hot that can burn even that white paper,
Every comma, full stop you put breaks my heart,
You have win this race, please let us not fight.
Who’s that man, made you hates us men in stopper?
Seeing all of us, as useless creature like grasshopper,
Male species unto you is like a house with no light,
Hence your words lay on each of us like a deadly plight.
Tell me dear, so as I can apologies on his behalf ripper,
I am ready to kneel down and bow for you to whisper,
So as you can stop this painful words which aren’t right,
Which paint worse colour to us poor men in the street.
I know money unto you isn’t problem, you glitter,
Fame isn’t the course of all these drama in gutter,
But deep in your heart, there is something in might,
Which is expressed by your moves of your words height.
Your attacks directed unto us is venom sister,
Which burns our soul’s and leave behind blister,
Why do we resolve this issue, no one is perfect,
So as we can live, peaceful without any shout.
