After Nairobi Half Life, Another Kenyan Blockbuster To Hit The Screen Soon
Nairobi Half Life was the talk of the nation when it was released. Kenyans for the first time were proud of a local film. Following in the footstep of Nairobi Half Life, Mike Muikia or better known as Mike Ji, pieced together the first Kenyan musician series.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the official screening of ‘Nayomi’ will be happening this coming Saturday at Six Eighty Hotel from 3:30 pm.
Nayomi is a motion picture adaptation of untrue stories but captured with extreme realisms. Approved and rated PG by the Kenya Film Classification Board, the film focuses of various characters stories and how they intertwine to shape a little girl’s life that grows into a compassionate, resilient woman.
The producer, Mike Ji (a former JKUAT student) used some great visual trickery to make the series appealing to viewers.

Season 1 of musical NAYOMI introduces each character in their niches and how human relationships influence each one of them. Season 2 will focus on NAYOMI as a resilient woman, having brought up by a violent father, Bari, and a purely opposite character mother, Pretah.
The new series stars Naomi Waweru, Sarah Muoti, Michael Mukumbu, Emily Wanjiru and Julius Mwanzia gives this wonderful musical a fine and magnificent realism of the stories told.
This Saturday the 28th will be a day like no other as Mike Ji reveals Kenya’s first Musical series backed up by Pitson, Mwenyehaki, Njoro the Comedian and many other artistes in the entertainment industry.
