Man Behind Kabete MP’s Murder Thrown To Jail
The man suspected to be behind the cold blood murder of Kabete Member of parliament, George Muchai, has been thrown behind bars as investigations intensify to nub his accomplices.
Samwel Wambugu Gichamba was arrested in Kangemi yesterday and he is believed to be the one driving the car that the assailants used as they sprayed bullets on Muchai and his driver and two body guards.
Resident magistrate B M Nzakyo gave in to the request of the prosecution that the suspect be held in custody to help investigators identify his accomplices who are still at large.

Gichamba will remain in police custody for 14 days after which he will be charged for the murder of the MP, his driver and two body guards.
There was no case mentioned against the suspect as police are still trailing others believed to be behind the heinous act.
George Muchai, his driver and two bodyguards were gunned down near Nyayo House early Saturday morning as they drove back home from Galileo in Westlands where they had a family meeting.
The MP will be laid to rest today at his home in Ruai.
