Earlier today, information reached us that Gospel Artiste Ambassada had allegedly been arrested after he was caught with a stolen iPad that belonged to Hapa Kule’s Fred Omondi.
Ambassada is known for his hit song “Watoto Inkahne’ so many were shocked to learn of this news. I called up the said victim Fred Omondi to find out if his ipad had been stolen and whether Ambassada was arrested.
Fred said that his iPad was stolen after they were robbed at gunpoint by armed gunmen who had broken into their offices. The gunmen made away with an ipad, money, a television set among other items. Since violent robbery is a serious crime, Fred reported the issue to the police and on Monday night the police called him up.
They asked him to report to Rongai Police Station to identify if his stolen goods were among some stolen items that had been seized by the police.
So the following day, he made his way to the Rongai Police Station where the police showed him some items that had been stolen and among them was his ipad which had been found in Ambassada’s possession.

One of the suspects, a broker who is also an artiste named B4C confessed to selling the items and in turn revealed the identity of some of those who were involved in the stealing of the electronics and money.
Those who were in possession of the property were also named and Ambassada was identified as the person found with Fred’s iPad. But Fred maintains that he does not know how exactly his iPad landed in Ambassada’s hands and people should not jump into conclusions yet.
