This Is Why ” The Real House-helps Of Kawangware” Is The Best Comedy In Kenya!

If there is a honorary accolade for the funniest lot on the Kenyan Tv where comedy and originality has gone down the drain, then you have to give that to The Real Househelps of Kawangware! It is simply the heart of Kenyan comedy et al. It blends ethnicity and comedy without necessarily stretching the tribal jokes and making bland references  to individual weaknesses. 

 The real househelps of Kawangware, (probably a parody of The real housewives of Atlanta) has identified the niche in the Kenyan Comedy scene and exploited it, with good results if  I might add.  The Real Househelps of Kawangware follows the lives of 4 househelps Awiti, Kalekye, Njambi and Trufena as they go through their daily routines in Kawangware.

Last nights episode however made me realize that there are better actors that most of us may have ignored, actors like Tsipix (Ivan Kiplimo) and his Ex girl Truphena, the two have proved in their own little special way that revenge does not really work in relationships. 

The Tv drama that features upcoming actors who have been in the industry for only 7 months  has worn 3 awards for the best comedy show.
