Just Like Her Husband, Uhuru Kenyatta, Magret Kenyatta’s Painting Is Here, And The 23 Year Old Maseno Student Who Painted Her!

The closest I came to learning about art was when I was reading Dan Brown’s Angels And Demons, I learnt of the proficient Michelangelo, The talented Raphael Bernini and the Breathtaking Leonardo Da Vinci, all who had made a name for themselves by exploiting the universal language, Art. 

 Paul Gathaiya Wanjama is such, his love for art is second to none, he started from way back in primary school where he would draw (to the amusement of his classmates) a caricature of their teacher. He did not tap into his God-given talent until later in life when he had joined campus as an Economics student. At his home in Mathioya, He has a studio, where he spends his free time when he is out of school. He recently painted “Mama Taifa” Because no one else had! 

He Even took time to color her! And also included the most important detail, Her contribution towards the Beyond Zero initiative. I am not an expert in art, but this one here is deep. It is timeless, It will live beyond us, a Painting that will remind us of Margret’s Kenyatta’s contribution to our country.
