Tujuane was without a doubt one of the biggest shows of 2013-2014. Our love for love and ratchetness drew us in to watch the ratchet dates, the controversial dates and the excellent dates.

But we also tuned in because of the two presenters Yvonne Bulimo and the Captain of the love ship Malonza who had such obvious on-screen chemistry. And as we all know nothing draws viewers in like palpable chemistry. However many wondered if their on-screen chemistry translated to off-screen Chemistry. And was their on screen chemistry the reason they went separate ways?

Yvonne denies that she had any sexual relationship offset saying that the only relationship the two had was their platonic friendship. She goes on to fondly describe Malonza as a sweet, high spirited, very caring and a very good friend. Adding that she calls him for advice, he asks her for advice about a lot of things since she is older; basically they have a close-knit friendship.

On leaving Tujuane, Yvonne says that Tujuane was looking to cater to a bigger market, the East African Market and they wanted someone who would cater to the new target market. Someone who could speak Swahili since East Africans compromises of both English and Swahili speakers.

“So now that they no longer worked together would she date Malonza?” we asked. She says that the only was y she would date Malonza was if she was 18 and at USIU, basically if she was younger.

And still then it would be impossible since he is in a committed relationship and Yvonne adores his girlfriend.
